SEM is a long process. People will catch you on how interesting your write ups as well as how often you are updated.

They’re all pretty expensive if you want to do a targeted mailing. Mass mailings are cheaper, but please spare us from more junk-mail.

titles
meta description
meta keywords
internal linking
keywords density
usage of latent symentic indexing
sitemaps
robots.txt
alt tags for images
This along with strong offsite seo should help you rank very well in the search engines.

I have a new website. When I try a search on major search engines my sites does show up in the returned results. I am trying to increase the amount of traffic the site receives. Do I need to register with the search engines, or is there something else I need to do? Any Ideas?
Yes. Content is KING. Search Engine Optimization is important but if you have original, good content the success will come for sure.
